The finishing touches...

I'm almost finished the project! Just making some extra features to make the whole experience a bit more convincing- such as a nice shoe box sprayed black, with the logo laser cut into the top, for the packaging & a nice little booklet that accompanies it. Lovely!

Flight of the Conchords

I've been listening to a heap of their songs for a while now, but just recently started watching their TV series - it's business time!

Tweenbots

I just found this New York based project about human dependant robots - exploring a deep subject using very simple technology & research.

Coconut Cup

As a small personal project, I'm looking at existing materials and what can be done using them. Currently I'm looking at reusing plant material - for this I'm using a hollowed out coconut and trying to make it into a functional cup. More details later...

Bodysuit 5000

It doesn't get any better than a few drinks and some fun with pens and fluorescent paint!

No Country For Old Men

After recently buying the DVD, I decided to watch No Country For Old Men - a crackin' film!

What I noticed was how the choice of weapons and objects for the main baddie - Anton Chigurh - were perfectly matched for his character. Just the sound of the compressed air canister gives me the creeps now! And the look of the silenced shotgun looks so sinister!

Anyway, go see it...

Ring of Death

A couple of weeks ago, me and my flatmates were happily playing the Xbox, until suddenly the whole room fell silent - the "ring of death" appeared on the front of the console. This pretty much means the product has died and no more fun for us!

What I'm trying to say is that I've never been so emotionally affected by a product feature (normally happy and green then turning blood red!) - I was so struck with dread and panic - the console wasn't even mine!

Good work Microsoft for making the whole flat shit themselves! (and repairing it, free of charge).

I've been a bit busy for the past while and I forgot to post up the link to our Re3 site - go have a cheeky peek!
